career lesson

#1 How are the concepts you are currently learning about in class/school reflected in the movie Julie & Julia?
Blogging in the movie is a big deal for Julie and its something she looks forward to doing everyday. Making all Julia's recipies in a certain amount of days makes her look forward to the day.

#2 Pick one of the following career lesson we can learn from Julia and reflect/respond on how you can use this is your own life.
-Accept that doing anything well requires hard work.
Julia wasn’t satisfied to take culinary classes or write recipes off-the-cuff — her kitchen was her laboratory. While in culinary school, she’d come home from class and spend hours working out the hows and whys of what she’d learned that day. When writing recipes, she’d test every ingredient and measurement, experimenting with mayonnaise until she was certain no one could possibly have written more on the subject than she had. “I had never taken anything so seriously in  my life — husband and cat excepted — and I could hardly bear to be away from the kitchen,” she wrote.

I can use this in my own life because it is true. No matter what you're doing or trying to persue, you are always going to be putting fourth your hard work. Some people not think so, but if you are doing something you truly love, you are going to work hard at it and try to get it to its best ability.

#1: What are your interests, hobbies and/or passion?
Volleyball is probably my biggest passion, hobby and interest. Its a way to clear my mind and to me on the court. Another thing i enjoy is photgraphy. In the past two years I found a way to take my drawings and sketches and take pictures of them and then from there i fell in love with photography. I feel like its a great way to express your feelings and get a different view or perspective on certain things.

#2 Do you think that you have to have your life completly figured out by the age of 30? Why or Why not?
No, I dont think you have to have your life planned out by age 30 because you should have the right to do whatever you want with your life no matter what age you are.
